RLCWA recently awarded two new system improvement projects that are scheduled to start this fall.
The first is to install approximately 3,000 feet of 24 inch water main along State Route 82, in Columbia Township. This main will support a proposed new pump station. The engineer's estimate was $661,000.00. Underground Utilities Inc. from Monroeville, Ohio was the low bidder at $491,390.00.
The second project awarded was for an above ground pumping station to be located on State Route 82, in Columbia Township. The engineer's estimate for this project was $953,700.00. Engineered Fluid Inc., from Centralia, Illinois was the low bidder at $952,988.00.
Both of these projects are being constructed with the use of internal RLCWA funds.
The Sullivan Tank repainting and mixer installation project has been completed and this tank is now back in service.
