The new 200,000 gallon Troy Township elevated water tower has been completely painted, inside and out, and is now in service.
The three 2012 projects; painting of the Penfield Tank, the State Route 83 water main replacement, and the Spieth Road chlorinator, are complete and those facilities are in service.
We have three projects scheduled for 2013;
The first is to install approximately 3,000 feet of 24 inch water main along State Route 82, in Columbia Township, to support a proposed pump station. The engineer's estimate for this project is approximately $500,000.00.
The second project will be to construct an above ground pumping station along State Route 82, in Columbia Township. The engineer's estimate for this project is approximately $800,000.00.
The third project is to repaint the elevated water tower in Sullivan and to add a mixing system. The engineer's estimate for this project is $330,000.00. We will open bids for this project on March 6, 2013.
All of the projects are being completed with the use of internal RLCWA funds.
